若有人聽了詛咒的誓言，能為所見所知的事作證而不肯聲明，就犯了罪，應負罪咎.
If someone sins in any of these following cases: “He should have come forward to give evidence when he heard the formal adjuration, having seen the incident or known the facts; but he has not spoken out, and so bears the consequences of his guilt.

 

戶 14:18  Nb 14:18
上主緩於發怒，富於仁慈，寬赦過犯和罪過，但決不豁免懲罰，父親的過犯，要向子孫追討，直到三代四代.
Yahweh, slow to anger and rich in faithful love, forgiving faults and transgression, and yet letting nothing go unchecked, punishing the parents’ guilt in the children to the third and fourth generation.

 

詠 32:2 Ps 32:2
上主不歸咎，心中無詐欺的人，是有福的.
How blessed are those to whom Yahweh imputes no guilt, whose spirit harbours no deceit.

 

詠 38:18 Ps 38:18
我的確承認我犯了罪愆，我為了我的過惡而憂慚.
But I make no secret of my guilt, I am anxious at the thought of my sin.

 

箴 13:6 Pr 13:6
正義保衛行為正直的人，邪惡卻使罪人滅亡.
Uprightness stands guard over one whose way is honest, sin causes the ruin of the wicked.

傲慢的眼睛，驕矜的心靈，惡人的弦耀，無非是罪惡
Haughty eye, proud heart, lamp of the wicked, nothing but sin.

愚人的計謀只是罪惡；狂妄的人為人所憎惡.
Folly dreams of nothing but sin, the mocker is abhorrent.

 

箴 28:24 Pr 23:24
向自己父母行竊，卻說「這並不是罪，」與強盜是同路人.
Whoever robs father and mother saying, ‘Nothing wrong in that!’ is comrade for a brigand.

 

訓 7:20 Qo 7:20
世上沒有一個只行善，而不犯罪的義人.
No one on earth is sufficiently upright to do good without ever sinning.

 

依 1:28 Is 1:28
然而惡人和罪人必將一同滅亡，背棄上主的人必要滅絕.
Rebels and sinners alike will be destroyed, and those who abandon Yahweh will perish.

 

依 59:4 Is 59:4
沒有人按正義起訴，沒有人照公正行審；都依賴虛無講說空話，孕育著詭詐，產生邪惡.
No one makes upright accusations or pleads sincerely. All rely on empty words, utter falsehood, conceive trouble and give birth to evil.

 

則 18:4 Ezk 18:4
所有的生命都屬於我，祖先的生命與子孫的生命全屬於我；誰犯罪，誰喪亡.
Look, all life belongs to me; the father’s life and the son’s life, both alike belong to me. The one who has sinned is the one to die.

 

則 18:20 Ezk 18:20
誰犯罪，誰就該喪亡；兒子不承擔父親的罪過，父親不承擔兒子的罪過；義人的正義歸於義人自己，惡人的邪惡也歸於惡人自己.
The one who has sinned is the one who must die; a son is not to bear his father’s guilt, nor a father his son’s guilt. The upright will be credited with his uprightness, and the wicked with his wickedness.

上主雖緩於發怒，但能力偉大，他決不全然免罰；他的行程是在狂風暴雨中，雲彩是他腳下的塵埃.
Yahweh is slow to anger but great in power, Yahweh never lets evil go unpunished. In storm and whirlwind he takes his way, the clouds are the dust stirred up by his feet.

 

瑪 12:7 Mt 12:7
假如你們瞭解『我喜愛仁愛勝過祭獻』是什麼，你們就決不會判斷無罪的人了.
And if you had understood the meaning of the words: Mercy is what pleases me, not sacrifice, you would not have condemned the blameless.

 

路 6:32 Lk 6:32 
若你們愛那愛你們的，為你們還算什麼功德？因為連罪人也愛那愛他們的人.
If you love those who love you, what credit can you expect? Even sinners love those who love them.

 

路 6:33 Lk 6:33 
你們善待那善待你們的，為你們還算什麼功德？因為連罪人也這樣作.
And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit can you expect? For even sinners do that much.

你們若借給那些有希望償還的，為你們還算什麼功德？就是罪人也借給罪人，為能如數收回.
And if you lend to those from whom you hope to get money back, what credit can you expect? Even sinners lend to sinners to get back the same amount.

耶穌答覆說：「我實實在在告訴你們：凡是犯罪的，就是罪惡的奴隸.
Jesus replied: In all truth I tell you, everyone who commits sin is a slave.

 

羅 5:20 Rm 5:20
法律本是後加的，是為增多過犯；但是罪惡在那裡越多，恩寵在那裡也越格外豐富.
When law came on the scene, it was to multiply the offences. But however much sin increased, grace was always greater;

可是，我發覺在我的肢體內，另有一條法律，與我理智所贊同的法律交戰，並把我擄去，叫我隸屬於那在我肢體內的罪惡的法律.
but I see that acting on my body there is a different law which battles against the law in my mind. So I am brought to be a prisoner of that law of sin which lives inside my body.

 

羅 14:23 Rm 14:23
但誰若懷著疑心吃了，便被判有罪，因為這不是出於信心做的：凡不出於信心做的，就是罪.
But anyone who eats with qualms of conscience is condemned, because this eating does not spring from faith — and every action which does not spring from faith is sin.

 

格後 13:2 2Co 13:2
我第二次在你們那裡時已經說過，如今不在的時候，再預先向那些以前犯了罪的，和其餘的眾人說：我若再來，必不寬容.
 I gave you notice once, and now, though I am not with you, I give notice again, just as when I was with you for a second time, to those who sinned before, and to all others; and it is to this effect, that when I do come next time, I shall have no mercy:

Now if we too are found to be sinners on the grounds that we seek our justification in Christ, it would surely follow that Christ was at the service of sin. Out of the question.

on the understanding that laws are not framed for people who are upright. On the contrary, they are for criminals and the insubordinate, for the irreligious and the wicked, for the sacrilegious and the godless; they are for people who kill their fathers or mothers and for murderers,

 

弟前 1:15 1Tm 1:15
這話是確實的，值得完全接納：就是基督耶穌到世界上來，是為拯救罪人；而我就是其中的魁首.
Here is a saying that you can rely on and nobody should doubt: that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. I myself am the greatest of them.

犯罪的人，你要在眾人前加以斥責，為叫其餘的人有所警惕.
 If anyone is at fault, reprimand him publicly, as a warning to the rest.

 

雅 4:8 Jm 4:8
你們要親近天主，天主就必親近你們。罪人們，你們務要潔淨你們的手；三心兩意的人，你們務要清潔你們的心.
The nearer you go to God, the nearer God will come to you. Clean your hands, you sinners, and clear your minds, you waverers.

 

雅 5:16 Jm 5:16
所以你們要彼此告罪，彼此祈禱，為得痊愈。義人懇切的祈禱，大有功效.
So confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another to be cured; the heartfelt prayer of someone upright works very powerfully.

 

伯前 4:18 1P 4:18
如果義人還難以得救，那麼惡人和罪人，要有什麼結果呢.
If it is hard for the upright to be saved, what will happen to the wicked and to sinners?

凡是犯罪的，也就是作違法的事，因為罪過就是違法.
Whoever sins, acts wickedly, because all sin is wickedness.

那犯罪的，是屬於魔鬼，因為魔鬼從起初就犯罪：天主子所以顯現出來，是為消滅魔鬼的作為.
Whoever lives sinfully belongs to the devil, since the devil has been a sinner from the beginning. This was the purpose of the appearing of the Son of God, to undo the work of the devil.

任何的不義都是罪過，但也有不至於死的罪過.
